So I have introduced the iPads to my students. Here's 5 Core apps and 5 websites which can be introduced right into your classroom with links to different tutorials and ideas.
1. Notability
Combine handwriting, photos and typing to bring your projects to life.
Add as much detail as you like with a variety of colors and fonts. Notability is a powerful ($1.99) app
which allows you to mark up worksheets, pdfs, photos and documents for a smooth digital workflow. http://www.gingerlabs.com/

3. Book Creator
Harness the creativity of your students with Book Creator. This paid App is an amazing outlet for students to create their own iBooks right on the iPad. Add your text, images, video, music andnarration and use all of your contentto tell the whole story.
4. Socrative Student/ Kahoot.it
Socrative lets teachers engage and assess their students with educational
activities on tablets, laptops and smartphones. Through the use of real time
questioning, instant result aggregation and visualization, teachers can gauge
the whole class’ current level of understanding.
Kahoot.IT is a website to create and play quizzes, discussions or even
surveys (which we call Kahoots) using any device with a web browser.
5. iMovie
iMovie makes it easy to browse and share the HD video you shoot on your iOS device. Turn your favorite clips into blockbuster movies or Hollywood‑style trailers. And watch your mini‑masterpieces anywhere with iMovie Theater. The implications to education are massive as students can visually show their learning through pictures, audio using their own voice, and music. This has been successful in many classrooms district wide already!
